Jason R. Leech, 26, of 21857 Hunter Road, Meadville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born September 26, 1982 in Meadville a son of Darrel and Cheryl Loper Leech.

He was employed as a tool maker at Leech Industries, Inc.  He was a 2001 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and the Crawford County Vo-Tech Tool & Die Program.  He was a member of Meadville Elks Lodge 219.  He enjoyed having fun with his family and friends, hunting, cutting firewood riding 4-wheelers at camp, Cleveland Cavaliers basketball, Browns football and Yankees baseball.  He also enjoyed playing euchre and going to the movies.

Survivors, include his parents, Darrel and Cheryl Leech of Meadville; a brother, Benjamin B. Leech of State College; his maternal grandparents, Lyle and Donna Loper of Meadville and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lorraine Leech.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with an Elks service at 5:45 p.m.

The funeral and committal service will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Terry Clark, Pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Christian Church, 503 N. Main Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
