Jean E. Curtis

Jean E. Curtis, 91, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community died there Saturday, December 19, 2020.

She was born August 23, 1929 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Harry and Ethel Nystrom Swanson.  She married Lyle Curtis in August 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1990.

Jean was a graduate of Meadville High School and was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed reading and traveling.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Kidd (Glen) of Meadville; a son, Scott Curtis (Pam) of Meadville; three grandchildren, Curtis Williams, Clayton Curtis and Greg Curtis; and two nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Swanson.

Private services will be held by the family with interment next to her husband in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty Street or the Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main Street, both of Meadville, PA 16335.
