Jeanette Jean Dolan

Jeanette Jean Dolan, 89, of Meadville and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community for the past 6 weeks, died there, Wednesday, November 04, 2015. She was born in Meadville September 8, 1926 a daughter of William and Catherine Remias Hassett. She married John Edward Dolan, Jr. September 12, 1953 and he preceded her in death March 3, 1998. She was a 1944 graduate of Meadville High School and was a member of St. Pauls Reformed Church and its Loyal Daughters Class and Womens Guild. She was a stay at home mom and at one time had worked at the former Spauldings, Westinghouse and Meadville Hardware. She enjoyed baking and gardening She is survived by a daughter, Marcia Dolan Cunningham and her husband Kevin of Meadville; a granddaughter, Morgan Cunningham; a sister, Maxine Hassett of Meadville; two nephews, Frederick Rowland of Meadville and William Rowland of Rock Hill, SC and two nieces, Rebecca Rowland of Meadville and Barbara Payne of Berea, OH In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Rowland. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral and committal service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Hasenkopf of St. Pauls Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Pauls Reformed Church, 1070 Park Avenue, The Meadville Public Library, 848 N.
