Jeanette McCullough, 92, of Meadville, died Tuesday, April 17, 1984, at City Hospital after a two months illness.
She was born at Atwood, KA, January 31, 1892, a daughter of John and Clara Ewing McCullough.
Miss McCullough worked for 41 years as a teacher, spending 21 of those years teaching in Vernon Township. She also served as principle of the elementary school at Kerrtown and taught at the one room school in her early career. She retired from teaching in 1954.
She attended Saegertown United Methodist Church and was a 1910 graduate of the former Edinboro State Normal School.
Miss McCullough is survived by one niece and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marion Gage, Grace Oaks and Ruby Stump.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
