Jeanne S. Wilson, 77, of Meadville, died Wednesday, November 8, 1989, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Butler on August 2, 1912, a daughter of Frank W. and Bertha Wolcott Smith. She married A. R. (Dick) Wilson, March 18, 1935. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1974.
She retired as a medical assistant to Dr. David Kirkpatrick after 19 years. She was previously employed for two years as office secretary for the Girl Scouts Council and prior to that as office secretary for the First Presbyterian Church. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 54 years. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Women and for 17 years was a member of the church choir. She also served for several years on the board of directors of the Easter Seal Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Max (Miriam) Conner of Coral Springs, FL; a son, Richard W. Wilson of Salt Lake City, UT; a sister, Mrs. E. W. (Gladys) Hershberger of Butler; a brother, Kenneth W. Smith of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; ten grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Northside Cemetery, Butler.
