Jeannine E. Scott

Jeannine E. Scott, 73, of 602 Arch Street, Meadville, died Monday, January 26, 2004 at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Meadville, November 21, 1930 a daughter of Paul Arthur and Lina Iona Stone Wilson.  She was divorced from Robert Scott.  Her companion of the past 40 years was Clifford “Tom” Williams.

She attended Allida Smith Wesleyan Methodist Church.  She also enjoyed painting, ceramics, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her companion, include seven children, Robert Paul Scott of Stockton, CA, Edward Addison Scott and his wife Janice of Castro Valley, CA, Sherry Wheaton and her husband Ben, Melody Bush, Rick Scott and his wife Karen, Paul Scott and his wife Kelly and Carrie Lynn and her husband Bill all of Meadville; four step children, Eileen Gable, Tommy Williams and his wife Kim and Teresa Williams all of Meadville and Johnny Williams of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, Jamie Champlin of Cincinnati, Melissa Belfiore, Shaun Vernesoni, Joshua Scott, Robert Scott, Audreaona Scott, Alicia Scott and Dakota Scott all of Meadville; 12 step grandchildren, Jennifer Foust, Nicole Foust, Ayla Highway, Caleb Williams, Brian Wheaton, Joe Reibel, Laura Reibel, and Jessica, Terry, Tommy, Emily and Floyd Williams; one great granddaughter, Tina Belfiore; three sisters, Gail Stagl of Springboro, Kathleen Curley and her husband Tom of Meadville and Mabel Roberts of Titusville and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Southwick and Janet of Hauschel and a daughter, Tina Marie Scott.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Allida Smith Wesleyan Methodist Church, 15228 S. Mosiertown Rd., Meadville with the Rev. Daniel A. Kaufman, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to Tom Williams, c/o the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
