Jefferson (Jeff) E. Mushrush

Jefferson E. (Jeff) Mushrush, 83, of Hartstown, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at UPMC-Hamot, Erie.

He was born in Geneva, PA June 29, 1932 a son of Elt and Florence Robshaw Mushrush.  He married Joyce Trask May 16, 1954 and she survives.

He attended Conneaut Lake High School and was a veteran of the Korean War serving stateside as a member of the 4th Armored Division based at Fort Hood, TX.  He worked on various construction projects throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio including the Perry Nuclear Power Plant as a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 47.

He enjoyed four wheeling and his Doberman, Kristie Leigh and his two cats.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Joyce of 61 years, include: two daughters, Cindy Lorenza and her husband Rich of Bellefonte, PA and Laura Werner and her husband Hans of Stewart, FL; four grandchildren, Michael Lorenzo and his fiancée, Rachael Belinda of Bellefonte, Anne Lorenzo of Bellefonte, Ryan O’Shurak and his wife Niki of Breinigsville, PA and Rebecca O’Shurak of Sparta, TN; two sisters, Mary Jo Davis of Meadville and Luann Armour of Meadville and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel O’Shurak; a brother, Mike Mushrush and his wife Virginia; a sister, Marian E. Mushrush and a brother-in-law, Al Davis.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.  The funeral and committal service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Brumagin, officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
