Jeffrey L. Lafferty

Jeffrey L. Lafferty, 45, of 770 Alden St., Meadville, died Monday, August 9, 2004 at Meadville Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born in Meadville March 28, 1959, a son of J. Roland (Pete) & Patricia R. Mullen Lafferty.  He married Brenda Sisson Reynolds June 1, 1990 and she survives.

He was a 1977 graduate of Meadville High School.  He attended the former Alliance College, Cambridge Springs.  He worked as a tool and die maker at various local tool and die companies.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of 14 years, include a son, Garrett D. Lafferty at home; 2 daughters, Sara Reynolds and her fiancé Chris Villani of Meadville and Jamie Reynolds of Meadville; his parents, Pete and Patricia Lafferty of Meadville; his maternal grandmother, Viola Mullen of Meadville; a sister, Cynthia D. Karns and her husband John of Meadville; 2 granddaughters, Thais and Mia Joliet; a nephew and niece, Christopher and Heather Karns of Meadville; his mother-in-law, Janice Sisson of Meadville; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A funeral and committal service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William L. Brown, Associate Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
