Jennette Dennington

Miss Jennette Dennington, 78, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles J. Barrows.  Miss Dennington was born and spent her early life in Wayne Township.

Graduated from Clarion State Normal School, she taught in Crawford County public schools for several years, then went to Baltimore to become a graduate nurse.  She practiced for several years before joining the Army Nurse Corps in WWI.  Miss Dennington was duty with the armed forces for two years.

Then she returned to Meadville and was active as a nurse until she retired about ten years ago.  Miss Dennington was a member of the Unitarian Church.

Besides Mrs. .Barrows, she is survived by a brother, Arthur R. Dennington of East Orange, NJ.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery.
