Jennie Lang

April 8, 1865 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Jennie Lang, 84, widow of Robert Lang, died early Monday morning at the Crawford County Infirmary, where she had been a patient the past few months.

One of a family of nine children, she is survived by one brother, Hugh M. Thomas of Woodcockboro and many nieces and nephews.

Before moving to Meadville, she and her husband resided on a farm near Woodcock.

She was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School, and in her youth taught in various schools in Pennsylvania, and in Nebraska, and of Trinity Shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem in Meadville.  She had retained her membership in the Woodcock Methodist Church, but attended Stone Methodist Church over a long period, and was a member of the Beacon Light Class.  She was past member of the Womans Club.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
