Jennie M. Mcclean

Mrs. Jennie M. McClean, 88, of Meadville, died at her home Wednesday, March 2, 1977, after a sudden illness.

She was born in Monticello, MO, April 12, 1888, a daughter of William B. and Laura Graves McRoberts.  She married Dr. Lee D. McClean on September 10, 1914.  He was a former professor at Allegheny College before his death.

Mrs. McClean was affiliated with Stone United Methodist Church and was active in church, college and municipal organizations, including the YWCA, the Ladies Advisory Committee to City Hospital, Meadville Woman's Club and the Meadville Country Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Miriam M. Bolard of Meadville and Mrs. Donald M (Jane) Richards of Incline Village, NE; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews in Monticello.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
