Jesse J. Cierakowski, 75, of Meadville, a retired Sunbeam welder, died at his home Friday, May 15, 1992.
He was born in Wilmington, DE, February 11, 1917, a son of Joseph and Hedwig Prezadak Cierakowski. He married Wanda M. Przondak October 22, 1936.
He retired in 1982 after working for 30 years as a welder/fabricator for Sunbeam Corp. and formerly Westinghouse Corp. He had also worked at American Viscose Corp. after serving two years in the US Army in World War II. He was a member of St. Birgid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Helen Thomas of Madison, OH and Carolyn Kebert of Meadville; a brother, Stanley Cierakowski of Baltimore, MD; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Cierakowski.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Brigid Cemetery.
