Jessie C. Leszek

Jessie C. Leszek, 76, of Saegertown, passed away, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born April 5, 1945 in Meadville, a daughter of Floyd and Edna Dillaman Cutshall.  She married Frank E. Leszek March 19, 1966.

Jessie was a 1963 graduate of Saegertown High School and a graduate of the Wil-Mar Beauty School in Sharon.  Jessie worked in housekeeping at the Quality Inn.  She had also worked at Super Duper, Loblaw’s, Italian Bakery, McDonald’s, Zinchiak Manufacturing, and helped provide childcare for her grandchildren for many years.

Jessie was of the Methodist faith.  She was a member of the Saegertown American Legion Post 205, Venango VFW Post 169, and life-member of the Hayfield Township VFD.  She enjoyed crocheting and baking and entered her work in the Crawford County Fair for many years.  She loved going to all of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids sporting events and field trips.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Frank, include four children, Dawn Henry (Bob), Adam Leszek, Stephanie Sullivan (Boyd), and Trisha Offi (Richard), all of Saegertown; eleven grandchildren, Kellie Eakin (Eric), Kyle Henry (Chelsey), Kurtis Henry, Adam Leszek, Jr., Skylar Leszek, Frankie Leszek, Nick Sullivan (Janine), Samantha Sullivan, Felisha Offi, Anthony Offi, and Dominic Offi (Jules); four great-grandchildren, Levi Eakin, Lucy Eakin, Danielle Offi, and Jameson Sullivan; a sister, Carol Mears (Larry) of Cambridge Springs; lifelong friends, Jerry and Carol Bowker of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Byers and a brother, Lloyd Cutshall.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 11th from 2-5 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Clark officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Hayfield Central Hose Company, 15417 State Hwy 198, Meadville, PA 16335.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Meadville Medical Center ICU nursing staff and Dr. Lantsburg for the care they provided.
