Jessie Mae (Peg) Fry

Jessie Mae (Peg) Fry, 87, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at Rolling Fields.

She was born September 3, 1935 in Meadville, a daughter of Clyde L. and Mae Jessie Ellis Jones.  She married Paul M. Fry, Jr. October 18, 1956 and he preceded her in death April 6, 2020.

Peg worked at Golden Dawn, Conneaut Lake, G.C. Murphy Company, and in the parts department at Smith-Gray.  She enjoyed sewing and roller skating and was a tremendous cook and baker.

Survivors include three daughters, Dori Radicella of Meadville, Wendy Wise (Clifford) of Saegertown, and Sherri Kunselman of Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Davis of Linesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Randy Fry; eight brothers, Lyle, Lynn, Nelson, Burt, Clyde, Bill, Richard, and Jack Jones; and three sisters, Alese Stallsmith, Jessie Jones, and Laura Goldsmith.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 4th from 12-2 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Russ Hixson officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
