Jessie J. Redding

Jessie J. Redding, 92, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, formerly of Warren and Oil City, died Wednesday, June 24, 1987 at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Redding was born in Pine Grove Township, Venango County, September 12, 1894, a daughter of Nelson F. and Catherine J. Blauser Stover.  She married Wade M. Redding.  He preceded her in death July 19, 1957.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warren and American Legion Aux. at Oil City.

Survivors include two sons, George N. Redding and Wade M. Redding, Jr., both of Warren and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Redding and two brothers, Archie Stover and Virgil Stover.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hadley Cemetery.
