Jessie N. Meredith

Mrs. Jessie N. Meredith, 95, of the Methodist Home, Meadville, died at the home Wednesday, June 4, 1969, following an illness of one year.

She was born in Corry on November 27, 1873, a daughter of Walter and Ellen Pierce Northrup.  She was the widow of George H. Meredith who died on August 15, 1936.  Mrs. Meredith was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield, NY, and had been a seamstress in Jamestown, NY.  She was a resident of North Battleford, Ontario, Canada, for 25 or 30 years.

Survivors include three nephews, Charles Lehman of Mayville, NY, Harley Northrup of Westfield and Woodrow Northrup of Ripley, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in East Ripley Cemetery, East Ripley, NY.
