Jill S. Westerman

Jill S. Westerman, 69, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 29, 1945 in Meadville, a daughter of Marion Harding Griggs.

Jill was a graduate of Linesville High School.  She worked for the Visiting Nurses Association of Crawford County where she loved taking care of others and Chilson’s Furniture Store, Conneaut Lake.

An avid cat lover, Jill enjoyed antiquing, going to garage and yard sales, and loved to have fun.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Garvin and her husband William of Conneaut Lake; her mother, Marion Griggs of Conneaut Lake; two granddaughters, Melissa Stroup and Amanda Garvin; and a great-grandson, Gavin Stroup.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake with the Rev. Benjamin Travis, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
