Joan K. Boyle

Joan K. Boyle, 82, of Meadville and a current resident of Rolling Fields, Conneautville, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born September 21, 1931 in Philadelphia, a daughter of Charles W. and Helen G. Cole Olson.  She married Joseph Boyle August 19, 1997 and he survives.

Joan was a private duty home health care provider and had previously worked at Talon for 10 years and as a beautician for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, its Altar Rosary Society, and the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima.  She enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Joe, include her St. Brigid Church and Rolling Fields Families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edwin Olson.

Calling hours will be Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville with a Rosary service at 1:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Johnathan P. Schmolt as Celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
