Joanne M. (Scott) Crosley

Joanne M. Crosley, 94, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Meadville died Thursday, July 22, 2021.

She was born in Richmond Twp., Crawford County July 30, 1926 a daughter of Cyril Edmund and Hazel Mae Wheeler Scott.  She married Charles Edmund “Chuck” Crosley June 12, 1950 and he preceded her in death July 31, 2002.

Originally from Little Cooley, PA; Joanne followed Chuck through his military career, retiring to Jacksonville in 1964.  She was a wife, mother and homemaker.  Once her daughter graduated, she worked in various secretarial positions.  She previously attended Spring Glen United Methodist Church in Jacksonville

Joanne is survived by her only daughter Eileen Nickolson and her husband, Tom of Jacksonville, FL and two sisters, Joellen Thomas of Middleburg, FL and Jolene Peterson of Crossville, TN.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.

A graveside service will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Greendale Cemetery with Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.
