John Dudas, 84, of Meadville, died Tuesday, August 23, 1977, at Grove Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, where he had been a patient two weeks. He had been ill several months.
He was born at Besovic, Czechoslovakia, May 21, 1893, a son of John and Anna Zelyes Dudas. He married Barbara Hreschak who died in 1954 and subsequently married Leona Rhoades in 1969. She died in 1974.
Mr. Dudas was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Slovak Lodge of Lakewood. He was employed from 1913 to 1951 in farming in Beaver Center; from 1951 to 1961 at Talon Division of Textron; and from 1961 to 1969 at PA Tool and Gages, Inc.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Ann) Boyer of Grove City; two sons, John Dudas, Jr. of Lakewood, OH and George a. Dudas of Meadville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
