John M. (Jack) Goodrich, Jr.

John (Jack) M. Goodrich, Jr., 81, of Meadville, died Saturday, August 15, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Lee, Berkshire County, MA, March 16, 1906, a son of John M. and Cora Woods Goodrich.  He married Gladys Coutler, May 30, 1036.  She survives.

He was employed as a tool engineer at Talon for 38 years.  He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  He was a life member of Elks Lodge 219.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Robb of Scarsdale, NY; one son, John M. Goodrich, III of Harrisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Stetson (Alice) Harding of Glen Ridge, NJ and Vera Goodrich of Yonkers, NY; one brother, Charles N. Goodrich of Long Beach, CA; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Percy and two sisters, Marjorie Walker and Martha George.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
