John H. Bozic, Jr., 60, of Meadville, died, Thursday, November 23, 1989, at his home following an illness of 19 months.
Mr. Bozic was born in Meadville on August 21, 1929, a son of John H. and Gertrude Curry Bozic, Sr. He married Rebecca Keim, who survives.
He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church. He was a partner in the law firm of Bozic, Bozic and Thomas of Meadville. He was a graduate of Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN, Allegheny College (1951) and received his law degree from University of Pennsylvania (1954). He also attended New York University School of Law (1956), specializing in federal taxation. He served in the US Army as a special agent in counterintelligence during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Crawford County Bar Assoc. and served as editor of the Crawford County Legal Journal and on several civic and charitable committees.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Kristen Saltzman of Long Beach, NY, Alison Noall of Shaker Heights, OH and Beth Ann Bozic of Meadville; two sons, Peter J. of Bethel Park and David A. of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren; an aunt and several cousins.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
