John (Jack) F. Byham, 78, of Meadville, PA passed away into eternity with Jesus on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Jack was born on November 23, 1945 in Meadville PA.

Preceding Jack in death were his parents, John C. Byham, and Gertrude Irene Byham (Hanna). He is survived by two siblings, Judy Ridle, Bill Byham (Marsha) and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Surviving family are his loving wife MaryAnn Byham (Rosko), his three children, Russell Byham (Ellen), Brenda Kinder (Jack), and James Byham (Pat). The fulfillment of Jack’s legacy were his 15 grandchildren: Josh Neubert (Kristen), Jacob Neubert (Richard), Nicholas Neubert (Samantha), Benjamin Neubert, Nathan Neubert (Marquise), Matthew Kinder, Cheyanne Kinder, Gracie Kinder, Aubrey Kinder, Patrick Byham (Lena), Sean Byham (Carole), Brendan Byham (Rhetta), Caitlin Byham, Aidan Byham, and Sheena Byham. The joy of his heart in these final years were his 13 great children: Brayden, Adalyn, Camdyn, Amber, Dustin, Bryson, Mason, Jaxxon, Lincoln, Anna, Micah, Henry, and Zipporah. Many other close family and friends made Jack’s life a blessing.

He will be remembered as the best mechanic around who would give the shirt off his back to help someone out. Jack loved working on cars and worked at Weber-Harris Ford for 43 years until his retirement. He truly never retired and kept working at his own garage right up to the end. You would find him at car shows, watching NASCAR, watching the Steelers play or enjoying the great outdoors with his family. He will be fondly remembered as Papa, Happy Papa and Pappy to his many surviving grandkids. He was a regular at the Veterans Club in Meadville and the Legion in Saegertown.

Jack supported many charities and in lieu of flowers family and friends may send a memorial donation to Shriners Hospital for Children. Online at https://donate.lovetotherescue.org or mail to:
