John D. Krepp

January 22, 1891 — July 15, 1954

John D. Krepp, 63, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Wednesday morning after a long illness.

Mr. Krepp spent his early life in Franklin but had resided here the past 22 years, and had been employed at the local plant of the American Viscose Corp. for 24 years.  He was a foreman in the acetate maintenance division, engineering department.

Mr. Krepp was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Viscose Foremen's Club and BPO Elks.

He is survived by his widow, the former Irene McWilliams; two daughters and a son, Mrs. Chester R. Pattan of Conneaut Lake, Mrs. F. Orville Ribb of Meadville and John D. Jr. of South Euclid, OH; two grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. R. L. Brown of Sharon, Mrs. W. J. Karns, Lloyd J. and Richard Krepp, all of Franklin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
