John Thomas (Patch) Piccirillo

John Thomas (Pitch) Piccirillo, 53, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, January 29, 1999, at Meadville Medical Center after a period of declining health.

He was born in Meadville, April 29, 1945, a son of the late John A. and Mary Ross Piccirillo.  He married Cheryl Bohrer January 18, 1965.  She survives.

He was a self-employed carpenter and had previously worked for Rusco Industries.

He was a 1963 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School.

He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the US Navy.

He was a member of the Italian Civic Club.

He enjoyed golfing and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Lisa) Frisch of Pittsburgh, Angela Piccirillo of Conneaut Lake and Rosemarie Piccirillo of Raleigh, NC; a son, Robert Piccirillo of Conneaut Lake; a grandson, Ethen Frisch; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rose) Grossman and Mrs. Richard (Katherine) Severo, both of Meadville; a brother, Joseph Piccirillo of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister and a sister, Marilyn Piccirillo.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
