John Robert Faul

John Robert Faul, 73, of Meadville died Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Crawford County Care Center.

He was born April 9, 1948 in Meadville the son of Robert W. and Margery R. Sikes Faul.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry D. Faul and is survived by a brother, Mark S. Faul of Florida.

He was a disabled US Army veteran serving our country in the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.  He spent countless hours/years providing organ and piano music for many churches in and around the Meadville area as well as at many rest homes.  He loved to provide music and just couldn’t say no if a need arose and he could help.  He also served faithfully as organist and choir director at the Saegertown Community Church for many years and would often fit in and play at multiple churches on the same day.

His death is a great loss to the Christian community; he will be sadly missed by his many friends.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Rev. Jeff Conley, Pastor, of Missionary Alliance Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with military honor provided by Huidekoper VFW Post #2006.
