Josephine A. Sipe

April 14, 1907 — July 31, 1990

Josephine A. Sipe, 83, of Meadville, died Tuesday, July 31, 1990, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, following a three-year illness.

She was born in Cochranton, April 14, 1907, a daughter of Harry A. and Sarah Elizabeth Black Quinn.  She married Paul N. Sipe in 1932.  He survives.

She had first worked at the former H. L. Moore Co., Cochranton, as a bookkeeper and then worked at the former Crawford Store, Meadville, as a bookkeeper.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, were she had served as a Sunday school teacher.  She was a graduate of Meadville Commercial College.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a brother, Robert W. Quinn of Franklin and a nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
