Mrs. Josephine Jannot, 90, widow of the late Charles Jannot, formerly of East Fairfield Township, died early Monday morning after a very brief illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Roae of Meadville, where she resided several years.
She was born in Lyons, France, in 1850, coming to this country with her parents when she was 20 years old. She had been a member of St. Peter and Paul's Roman Catholic Church for 70 years.
Mrs. Jannot is survived by three sons and four daughters, Charles A., Edward G., Mrs. E. H. Riordan and Mrs. H. B. Fredericks of Meadville; Mrs. S. Seiple, Mrs. Roae and Leon E. Jannot, West Mead Township; twenty-one grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
