Josephine Randall Hoff

Mrs. Josephine Randall Hoff, 92, wife of the late Daniel W. Hoff, who was the former owner of Meadville Commercial College, died at Cambridge Springs Presbyterian Home Sunday, August 22, 1965, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Hoff was a member of First Presbyterian Chruch and the Isabelle Brawley Missionary Society and was a former member of Meadville Woman's Club and Rota Club.

Born at Redwood Falls, Minn., October 14, 1872, she was a daughter of Addison C. and Louise Butterworth Randall.  She married Mr. Hoff in 1897.  They lived at Providence, RI, and Lawrence, MA, before coming to Meadville in 1912.

Survivors include two sons, Randall of Brooklyn, NY and Hubert of Seattle, WA; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
