Joyce Lorraine Gilliand Bradley

Joyce Lorraine Gilliand Bradley, 77, of Meadville, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Crawford County Care Center.

She was born February 11, 1941 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Victor William and Dortha Eileen Cain Pardee.  She married William C. Bradley, Jr. March 17, 1979 and he survives.

Joyce was a 1959 graduate of Meadville High School.  She was employed in many positions in the area and of specific note as an insurance agent at Gelvin, Jackson and Starr, Associated Agencies and as owner and operator of her own Nationwide Agency.  She also owned and operated Lorraine’s Gift Shop on Washington Street and in her earlier years she worked at Wirt’s Drug Store and at Steer’s Dairy.

Joyce enjoyed ceramics and creating dried floral arrangements.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Bill, include a daughter, Susan L. Beers of Meadville; a stepson, John W. Bradley (Debbie Davis) of Sterling, VA; and two grandsons, Tyler Lee Beers and his wife Ashley and Weston E. Beers.

Services will be private with interment in Greendale Cemetery.
