Joyce M. Mushrush

Joyce M. Mushrush, 82, of Hartstown, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Marquette Hospice House.

She was born January 16, 1936 in Meadville, a daughter of Earl Harrison and Maxine Latrelle Truax Trask.  She married Jefferson E. (Jeff) Mushrush May 16, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 5, 2016.

Joyce was a 1954 graduate of Meadville High School.  A homemaker, she had been employed by AAA and was a well-known cake decorator.

Joyce was of the Presbyterian faith.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Lorenzo (Rich) of Bellefonte, PA and Laura Werner (Hans) of New Bern, NC; four grandchildren, Michael Lorenzo, Anne Lorenzo, Ryan O’Shurak (Nikki) and Rebecca O’Shurak; a great-granddaughter, Andi Elizabeth O’Shurak and 2 additional expected.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel O’Shurak and a brother, Michael Trask.

Services are private with interment in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
