Judith Ann Teets

Judith Ann Teets, 82 of Fairview Twp, passed away on December 23, 2022 at AHN Grove City. Judith was born on April 27, 1940 to the late Ralph and Anna (Doyle) Higbee.

In her early years she worked at the Fredonia Mill and then became a homemaker for her husband and children. Judith attended Oak Grove Church. She enjoyed sewing and traveling and was a 4-H leader in her earlier years. She also enjoyed working for Patton Ceramics and doing the ceramic rabbits at Lakeview School each year. She was a caretaker to many area children and always enjoyed their company. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She married her husband, Landon “Buck” Teets on June 4, 1960, he preceded her in death on April 17, 2007.

Judith is survived by her children; Tammy (Daniel) Patton of Sandy Lake, Tina Weekes of Jackson Center, and Todd (Lydia) Teets of Mercer, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her fur-grand-babies.

In addition to her husband Judith was preceded in death by her son-in-law Charlie Weekes, granddaughter Courtney (Weekes) Baker, and her brothers Bill, Bruce, and Rick Higbee.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.

Private interment will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
