Judy E. Gregg

Judy E. Gregg, 58, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at home following an unexpected illness.

She was born January 8, 1962 in Meadville, a daughter of the late William and Shirley Plattner Prenatt.  She married Robert C. (Bob) Gregg on June 25, 1994.

Judy was a 1979 graduate of Maplewood High School and a graduate of the Crawford County Vo-Tech where she received her LPN degree.  She worked in the office of Dr. Jeffrey Leri and had previously worked in the offices of Dr. Godfrey, Dr. Cortez, and Dr. Matthews.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a life member of the VFW Post #2006.  Judy was also a former member of the West Mead #2 VFD.  She loved gardening, arts and crafts, decorating for Christmas, and attending her son’s sporting events.  Judy loved and adored her family.  She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Bob, Judy is survived by a son, Brandon Gregg of Meadville; a step-daughter, Jennifer Sieg of Meadville; a step-granddaughter, Kaylee; a sister, Mary Christine Niemi of Erie; an uncle, Tom Prenatt of Meadville; her mother-in-law, Sandy Burns (Jack) of Meadville; her father-in-law, Mike Gregg (Amy) of Meadville; many cousins, including Nancy Snell, Scott Prenatt, Patrick Prenatt, and Chuck Prenatt; two nephews, Timothy K. Niemi and William L. Niemi; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; a brother-in-law, Ron Gregg (Sylvia) and their children Ron Jr., Shane, and Latayia; and beloved dog, Olive.

Calling hours will be Monday, March 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ben Travis, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
