June L. Yetter

June L. Yetter, 95, formerly of Pittsburgh and current resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since August 7, 1980, died Saturday, June 6, 1998 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.

She was born June 25, 1902 in Carnegie, a daughter of the late Larry C. and Elizabeth Lessig Lyons.  She married Fred C. Yetter February 2, 1929.  He preceded her in death June 19, 1964.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church of Pittsburgh and its United Methodist Women.  She was a former Sunday School Teacher.

Survivors include her good friend, Dorothy Proper of Meadville.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Yetter Thompson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
