Karen E. Bishoff, 65, formerly of Conneaut Lake and died Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Girard, PA following a battle with cancer.
She was born in Meadville September 9, 1943 a daughter of Lawrence and Ruth Uplinger Rearick, Jr.
She worked as a cook at the former Seymour Ducks Restaurant in Conneaut Lake. She had also worked as a cook at a Shoney’s Restaurant in Florida and at Islay’s Restaurant in Linesville and other restaurants in the area.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, her Chihuahua dogs and raising cockatiels.
Survivors, include a sister, Janice Barrall and her husband Donald of Meadville; two brothers, Jim Rearick and his wife Pam of Conneaut, OH and Robert Rearick and his wife Megan of Castalian Springs, TN and several nieces and nephews, including Robert Hutchinson and his girlfriend Tammy Braton, with whom she resided, of Girard, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel W. Bailey, Jr.
Calling hour will be Friday from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake. The service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Don Jeffers, Cousin, officiating.
Burial will be in Watson Run Cemetery.
