Karen Marie Moore, 49, of 1332 Laurel Drive, Meadville, died Sunday, December 23, 2001 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie as a result of injuries in an auto accident in Girard, PA.
She was born in Meadville, October 31, 1952 a daughter of Hibbard L. “Tim” and Bertha Jones Tyler.
She worked at Saegertown Manufacturing Co. since 1993. She was a graduate of Randolph East Mead High School and she was a member of the Vernon Vol. Fire Dept.
Survivors, include: a fiancée, Charlie Tripp of Meadville; two daughters, Nikki Hartman and her husband Charlie of Saegertown and Lisa Rawlings and her fiancée Denzel Henry of Meadville; a son, Carl Moore, Jr. of Conneaut Lake; her mother, Bertha Tyler of Meadville; a brother, Terry L. Tyler of Meadville and three grandchildren, Tausha Hartman, Chelsea Hartman and Tyler Gregor. She was preceded in death by her father, grandfather; a brother, Robert Tyler; a sister, Peggy Tyler and an infant brother and two infant sisters.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Howard Roxberry, Pastoral Assistant at Wesbury United Methodist Community, officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240-9856 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
