Karen Sue (Kish) Slater

Karen Sue (Kish) Slater, 56 of Mercer, passed away on January 21, 2022 at her home. Karen was born in Grove City on April 19, 1965 to the late Frank and Ethel Kish. Karen enjoyed animals and loved being with her dog and cat. She enjoyed taking car rides with her sister and spending time with her two sons.

Karen is survived by her sons, Kenneth J. Slater, Jr. and companion Scott Dulaney, Kody T. Slater of Greenville, grandson Koltn K. Slater of Grove City, sisters; Cynthia Swingle and Lydia “Buffy” Teets, brother; Frank Kish, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Kish.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.

There will be no services as per Karen’s wishes.
