Karl Merton Graham

September 19, 1893 — November 17, 1966

Karl Merton Graham, 73, of Harmonsburg, died at City Hospital Thursday, November 17, 1966, following an illness of 15 months.

Mr. Graham was born at Guys Mills on September 19, 1893, a son of Carl and Myrtle Hall Graham.

He was married to the former Lila L. Van Marter.  She died in 1941.  He married the former Clara Albright in 1947.

Mr. Graham was a retired millwright foreman with American Viscose Co.

He was associated with the Blooming Valley Methodist Church.

Mr. Graham was a member of Meadville Masonic Lodge 408; Solomon Royal Arch Chapter 191; Timothy Alden Council 60; Northwestern Commandery 25, Knights Templar; Coudersport Scottish Rite Bodies and Red Cross of Constantine.  He received the York Cross of Honor.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include, a daughter, Mrs. Laddie (Helen) Walker of Meadville; a son, Dr. K. Merle Graham of Boston; a sister, Mrs. Leona Smith of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
