Karla Jean (Talbot) Norr

Karla Jean Norr, 63 of Hartstown died surrounded by family Sunday, August 27, 2017 at UPMC Horizon in Greenville.

She was born in Greenville August 22, 1954 a daughter of Gerald L. and Jean Matteson Talbot.  She married Marvin E. Norr November 7, 1999 and he survives.

She attended Conneaut Lake Schools and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from the Crawford County Vo-Tech in 1984.  She worked as an L.P.N. for Meadville Medical Center for over 20 years and then worked in the same capacity at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community.

She was a member of Hartstown Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed bingo, boating on Pymatuning Lake, crafting, decorating her home for the holidays and finding a good bargain.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.  She also would participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Marvin of 17 years, include: two daughters, Lisa Haibach and her husband Brian of Lynchburg, VA and Jill Gamble and her husband Gary Jr. of Meadville; nine grandchildren, Alexandria Gregor, Anthony Norr, Trenton Schreffler, Elijah Schreffler, Morgan Kightlinger, Jalisa Norr, Ryan Norr, Timmy Norr and Stone Haibach; two great grandchildren, Ace Rankin and Cabella Rankin; two sisters, Cindy Dillon of Atlantic and Kelli Cassidy and her husband John of Meadville and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE ROAD, CONNEAUT LAKE.  The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rachel Johns, Pastor of Linesville Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville.
