Katherine Bolard Dunn

Katherine Bolard Dunn, 91, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, a former music teacher, died Sunday, September 8, 1991, at Wesbury following a period of failing health.

She was born in Waterford, July 5, 1900, a daughter of John A. and Mary Jane Cowan Bolard.  She married Dr. David C. Dunn, August 19, 1926.  He preceded her in death April 15, 1983.

Prior to her marriage, she taught music in the public schools of Pittsburgh and Cleveland, OH.  She was a member of Philo Mathesian Society, Mu Phi Epsilon music sorority, and Daughters of the American Revolution.  She was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Conservatory of Music in Meadville.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Patricia) Cutshall of Hammondsport, NY and Mrs. Beverly Ratcliffe of Bellevue, WA; two sons, John C. Dunn of Austintown, OH and William C. Dunn of Garland, TX; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Celia Bolard and two brothers, Frederick and George Bolard.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
