Katherine Jane Reynolds

Katherine Jane Reynolds, of Getzville, NY, died at the home on Tuesday, November 28, 1989, after a long illness.

She was born at Stafford, AZ, October 27, 1902, a daughter of Charles T. and Florence Wellwood Reynolds.  She was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland and did graduate work in pediatrics at John Hopkins University School of Nursing at Baltimore.  She lived and worked most of her life in New York state, her last position being as head nurse at Mountianview Hospital of Lockport, NY, a position she held for 27 years.  She was a member of a United Methodist Church and of the Order of Eastern Star, both in Sanborn, NY.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Louise R. Chase and a nephew, Joseph R. Chase, both of Meadville; four nieces and a number of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edwards Reynolds.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
