Kathleen R. "Katy" (Mcgranahan) Barrall

Kathleen R. "Katy" McGranahan Barral, 71, of Cambridge Springs, died Saturday, February 7, 1998, at Meadville Medical Center, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Jacksonville, FL, February 5, 1927, a dauhgter of Helen Leona McGrananhan.  She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Victor J. and Esther Smock McGranahan.  She married William E. Barrall, March 27, 1951.  He survives.

She was a 1945 graduate of Penn High School in Greenville.

She retired from the housekeeping department of Meadville Medical Center.  She had also worked for GTI in Saegertown and National Tel-Tronics in Meadville.

She especially enjoyed taking care of her family and grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, DuWayne (Deb) Barrall of Stoneboro and Donald (Janice) Barrall of Conneaut Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Debra) Graham of Saegertown and Mrs. Stephen (Darlene) Bradshaw of Meadville; a step-son, Lee Barrall of Greenville; an uncle and two aunts, including Francis Unger of Meadville; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson, Allen Phillips.

Services were held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
