Kathryn Hamilton

Kathryn Hamilton, 88, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since October 1995, died there Tuesday, January 7, 1997, after a sudden illness.

She was born in Meadville December 21, 1908, a daughter of Raymond E. and Ethel (Scoville) Peters.  She married James C. Hamilton who preceded her in death October 14, 1949.  He had been employed as an office secretary in the former Crawford County Schools Office.  She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and a life member of Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, James C. Hamilton of Cambridge, MA; a daughter, Mrs. John (Virginia) Pollard of Conneautville; a sister, Virginia Gepner of West Haven, CT; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
