Kathryn Hart George

Mrs. Kathryn Hart George, 71, of Meadville, and formerly of Hartstown, widow of Frank C. George, died at City Hospital Monday, October 15, 1979, following a one-year illness.

She was born in Washington, PA, October 8, 1908, daughter of James W. P. and Katharine Bromley Hart.  She married Geroge October 31, 1935, and he died January 6, 1947.

Mrs. George was a member of the Hartstown United Presbyterian Church and a 1927 graduate of Penn High School in Greenville.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Turben, Mrs. Evelyn Bender and Mrs. Margaret Turner, all of Meadville; three brothers, Joseph D. Hart of Waynesburg and J. Alex and Richard W. Hart of El Paso, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hartstown Cemetery.
