Kathryn M. Reisinger

Kathryn M. Reisinger, 76, of Meadville, a former employee of Allegheny College, died Friday, February 15, 1991, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, following an extended illness.

She was born in Kittanning, November 2, 1914, a daughter of Lant and Nancy Moorhead Sankey.  She married Russell S. Reisinger December 8, 1945.  He survives.

She was employed at Allegheny College for 17 years where she retired from the counseling center where she was in charge of faculty adviser records and career material.  Before her marriage she had worked at Penelec.  She was associated with the First Presbyterian Church and was a former Sunday School teacher.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Scott A. Reisinger of Beaver Falls; twin granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William Sankey and a sister, Nan Martin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
