Kathy Irene Haun Jewell, 70 of Utica, passed away on September 1, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. Kathy was born in Franklin on December 11, 1947 to the late George and Gladys White Haun. She was a homemaker for her husband and children and they were her world. Kathy was married to Charles Alfred Jewell, he preceded her in death. Kathy loved painting and drawing as well as knitting. Above all else she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her family was very special to her and they had many great memories together. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Lana Lehnortt of Utica, Nancy Bennefield and husband Richard of Utica, Dawn Reynolds and husband Mark Sires of Utica, Helen Ravas and husband Steve of Fisher, and Bonnie Jewell and companion Kevin Latshaw of Seneca, grandchildren Terri and husband Alex, Richard, Keven, Charles Glenn, Nichole, Kimberly, Stacy, Holly, David Michael and wife Deven, Charles Paul and wife Shevelle, Hope and husband Brett, and David Lee, great-grandchildren Gregory Jr., Brooke, Ava, Jordan, Zayden, Trinity, Haley, and Owen, Daughter-in-law Tammy Jewell of Ohio, Brother Melvin Haun and wife Erma, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son Robert Jewell, granddaughter Katherine Ravas, two infant great-grandchildren, sisters Geraldine Swartzfager, Dorothy Myers, Dolly Jewell, and Martha Haun, and brothers Ronnie and Terry Haun. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. Services will be private as per Kathy’s wishes.
