Katie Lee Cunningham

Katie Lee Cunningham, 53, of Shiremanstown, PA, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.

She was born September 22, 1969 in Honolulu, HI, a daughter of Frederick M. Cunningham, Sr. and Joanne Saulsbery Cunningham.

Katie was a 1987 graduate of El Camino High School, in Oceanside CA.  She worked at several places over the years including Edinboro College and Harrisburg Auto Auction. She was employed at West Shore Endoscopy Center in Camp Hill, PA.

She was a Girl Scout and reached the Level of Silver Award. She was a Past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters and served as a DeMolay Sweetheart. She was an avid Steelers Fan, as anyone
who knew her can attest to. Katie was outgoing and always willing to help others in any way she could. In the last few years, she began working in the health care industry and found it very fulfilling and enjoyed that she was able to help people and interact with different people on a daily basis.

Survivors include her mother, Joanne of Conneaut Lake, a brother, Frederick Cunningham, Jr. (Bonta) of Suffolk, VA; a nephew, Joshua Bulls; a niece, Marissa Cunningham; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Katie also had an extensive group of close friends and were considered extended family in Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Calling hour will be Thursday, March 30th from 1-2 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas officiating.
