Kay I. Morris, 90, of Clarendon, PA, died Saturday, November 15, 1997 at Warren Manor, Warren, PA, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Scranton, PA, on July 27, 1907. She married Paul E. Morris December 31, 1924 and he preceded her in death November 24, 1979.
She and her husband were owners and operators of the Morris Store on Route 77 in Richmond Township for 18 years until 1964. Prior to owning the store they had worked as custodians at the Crawford County Court House. She was a member of North Richmond United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Frank E. Morris of Clarendon, PA; three grandchildren, Paul Morris of El Cajon, CA, Valorie Smith of Butler and Regina Laidlaw of Minneapolis, MN and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethyl Braymer and two brothers, Harry and Harley Morris.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in North Richmond Cemetery.
