Kay Patricia (Carlson) Meader

Kay P. Meader, 70, of Springboro died at home Tuesday, December 29, 2020.  She was born January 29, 1950 in Escanaba, MI on the Upper Peninsula a daughter of Einar and Eleanor Sipshen Carlson.  She worked as the chief steward in the Merchant Marine which is where she met her husband who also works in the Merchant Marine, Jonathan K. Meader whom she married in 2002.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, Jonathan, include: a daughter, Kim of Springboro; a son, Ryan of Escanaba, MI; two sisters, Linda and Patty in Escanaba, MI; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held in Escanaba, MI.
