Kay N. Brown, 84, of Meadville died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born January 3, 1937 in Meadville a daughter of Harriet E. Murfin Smith and step-father, Alton E. Smith. She married Neil D. Brown and he survives. She was a 1957 graduate of Meadville High School and worked at Montgomery Wards for 9 years and then as a baby sitter for area families. She enjoyed her word search puzzles, watching her tv shows and soap operas and in her younger years, latch hook craft projects. She also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder outside the front window. In addition to her husband, Neil, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Goodwill (Bob) of Meadville; a grandson, Bobby Goodwill; a sister, Beth Erdmann (Bill) of Corinth, TX and nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and step-father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Etta Cooper. Private family graveside service will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., Two Chatham Center, Suite 1520, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert W.
